Did you know that Elvis' dog of choice was the Basset Hound? If you have ever heard the dissatisfied whine of a basset hound, you will know exactly where he got the lyrics, 'You ain't nothing but a hound dog, crying all the time." 

In addition to our mutual adoration of Basset Hounds, Elvis and OfficeHounds also share the love of peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Yummmmm! (I have my Mom & Elvis to thank for getting me into them (no that's not spelled incorrectly. I'm American and have a Mom, not a Mum.)

I have read conflicting information about whether it is acceptable to send unsolicited emails to businesses in the UK.  According to the I nformation Commissioner's Office , "Corporate subscribers - The rules on email do not apply to emails sent to organisations except that you must still identify yourself and provide an address." This information is readily available in their  Data Protection Good Practice Note Electronic mail marketing I also contacted Business Link regarding this matter, and the person I spoke with confirmed that it is acceptable to send unsolicited emails to businesses in the UK.
